Burdett, NY

Burdett sits in the Town of Hector in Schuyler County, east of Seneca Lake and northeast of Watkins Glen. It marks the first settlement in Hector, dating to about 1790, and New York State Route 79 comes through the village before continuing east through the Finger Lakes. Logan Creek adds a local water line, while the lake and the surrounding hills set the broader Finger Lakes frame.
