Burley is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Kitsap County, Washington, situated at the head of Burley Lagoon. Established in 1898 as a cooperative socialist colony by the Co-operative Brotherhood, the residential community of approximately 2,443 lies north of the Pierce County line. Public education is served by South Kitsap School District.
