About Burlington

Burlington is the county seat of Boone County, in northern Kentucky west of the Cincinnati airport and the Ohio River suburbs. It was incorporated in 1824, and its historic district gives the community an older civic core despite the rapid suburban growth around it. The Boone County Public Library has a branch in Burlington, and county government keeps the place important beyond its residential neighborhoods.
