About Burnt Cabins

Burnt Cabins is a Fulton County CDP on the Allens Valley road corridor, with U.S. 522 running through the village. The Forbes Road and Raystown Path shaped its early role as a passage across Tuscarora Mountain. The Burnt Cabins Historic District entered the National Register in 1998, and Cowans Gap State Park lies along Allens Valley to the south. Its present geography gathers a historic road junction, a mountain corridor, and a state park around one settlement.
