About Bushland

Bushland is a census-designated place situated along Interstate 40 in southwestern Potter and Randall counties, Texas, fourteen miles west of Amarillo. Named for Chicago donor William Henry Bush and established as a historic railway station on the Frying Pan Ranch, the community of approximately 2,779 is served by the Bushland Independent School District for public education.
