Byhalia, MS

Byhalia is a Marshall County town founded in the 1830s and named for Byhalia Creek, which flows past the community. It incorporated in 1873, then kept its transportation role as the BNSF Railway and Interstate 22 tied the town into the larger northwestern Mississippi map. Coldwater River is another local water marker, while Marshall County schools serve the town.
