About Calistoga

Calistoga is a scenic city in Napa County, California, situated at the northern end of the famous Napa Valley wine region. Founded in 1868 with the arrival of the California Pacific Railroad, the community of about 5,200 residents grew as a popular tourist destination for its natural hot springs. The area was historically home to the indigenous Wappo people. Today, Calistoga is known for its resorts and spas, which serve as the city's largest employers alongside the local school district.
