Cambria, WI

Cambria is a quiet Columbia County village surrounded by scenic rolling farmland and steeped in Welsh heritage. Settled in the 1840s along Duck Creek, the town originally grew around its local mills, railroad stop, and family farms. Settlers chose the name Cambria as a nod to Wales, and that sense of history still echoes through the historic homes and peaceful, tree-lined streets.

Life here centers on simple small-town comforts, from youth sports with the Cambria-Friesland schools to sunny afternoons at Tarrant Park and the village pool. Residents enjoy easy access to nearby lakes for weekend fishing, as well as quick drives to larger neighboring towns like Beaver Dam and Portage.
