About Cambridge
Set along Koshkonong Creek about twenty-five miles east of Madison, Cambridge is a small village of around 1,600 people. Its downtown was rebuilt after a fire in 1910 and today features local shops, cozy cafes, and historic brick storefronts. Outdoor spots are everywhere you look. Ripley Park on Lake Ripley offers a great beach for swimming and boating in the summer, while CamRock County Park draws hikers and mountain bikers to its trails along the water.

Cambridge is also known for its pottery roots and active arts community. Signature events like the Clay Collective Spring Pottery Tour and the Midwest Fire Fest bring locals and visitors together throughout the year. With a community pool, local theater productions, a good library, and quiet neighborhood streets, it is an easy place to settle into if you want small-town living close to Dane County jobs.
