Campbell's Island, IL

Campbell's Island is an island and unincorporated community in the Mississippi River. The 2020 census counted 275 residents. The island is located in Hampton Township, Rock Island County, Illinois. Campbell's Island is adjacent to East Moline and is connected to the city by a bridge. The short version is that Campbell's Island carries an earlier story into the places people know and use now. Campbell's Island is the site of the Campbell's Island State Memorial, a listed historic site overseen by the Illinois Historic Preservation Agency.
