Campobello, SC

Campobello is a Spartanburg County town along the South Pacolet River, concentrated around U.S. 176 and South Carolina 357, with S.C. 11 running through its northern side. It was founded in 1840, and the name comes from Italian for beautiful field. That older name sits beside a very practical map: roads, river, school district, and a town a few miles south of the North Carolina line.
