Canal Winchester is a suburban city in Fairfield and Franklin counties, Ohio, located southeast of Columbus. Founded in 1828, the community developed along the path of the Ohio and Erie Canal and now has a population of approximately 10,170. The city features the historic Bergstresser covered bridge, the National Barber's Museum, and a active historic downtown.
