About Cannonsburg

Cannonsburg is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Kent County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The 2020 census counted 203 residents. While the area was still a part of Plainfield Township, the settlement at Cannonsburg was founded in 1842 on an old Native American trail. In 1844 and 1845, mills were erected by Edwin B.
