Cantwell is a census-designated place in Denali Borough, Alaska, situated at the western terminus of the Denali Highway. Located at the north end of Broad Pass along Cantwell Creek, the community of two hundred residents was historically inhabited by nomadic Ahtna Athabaskans. Today, local students attend the Cantwell School within the Denali Borough School District.
