Caraway, AR

Caraway is a quiet, close-knit community of about 1,100 people in eastern Craighead County, set among the wide-open farmland of the Arkansas Delta near the St. Francis River. Originally founded as a timber camp named White Switch before taking the name of Senator Thaddeus Caraway in the 1920s, the town grew into a classic agricultural hub surrounded by cotton and soybean fields.
