Carey is a village in Wyandot County, Ohio, positioned near the prehistoric Sheriden Cave archaeological site. Founded in 1843 and historically developed by an early settlement of Luxembourg immigrants who preserved their ancestral culture in the area, the community of approximately 3,622 is served by the Carey Exempted Village School District for public education locally today.
