Caro, MI

Caro serves as the seat of Tuscola County, nestled in Michigan's Thumb region about thirty miles east of Saginaw. Home to around 4,300 residents, the community got its start as a 19th-century logging outpost along the Cass River before evolving into a classic farming hub. You will still spot signs of that agricultural heritage all around, most notably at the historic Michigan Sugar factory near the edge of town.
