Cashion Community, TX

Located about eight miles north of Wichita Falls along State Highway 240, Cashion Community offers a quiet slice of Texas countryside with quick access to city conveniences. While it officially incorporated in 2000, the area dates back to the late 1890s when early settlers built a one-room school named after county commissioner T.J. Cashion. An oil boom in 1918 brought more families to the area, shaping a close-knit rural neighborhood that has held onto its peaceful roots ever since.
