Cashmere, WA

Tucked into the Wenatchee River valley at the base of the Cascades, Cashmere is a charming small town with deep roots in Washington apple country. Home to around 3,300 residents, it offers a relaxed, neighborly pace of life surrounded by scenic fruit orchards and rolling foothills. Sitting right along Highway 2, the town gives you easy access to both the Bavarian tourist hub of Leavenworth just minutes up the road and the larger city conveniences of Wenatchee to the east.

Daily life here revolves around the outdoors and local community gatherings. The Wenatchee River winds right past town, making it a favorite spot for kayaking, rafting, and lazy summer floats. Downtown features classic brick storefronts, local cafes, and the historic home of Aplets and Cotlets candies, while the Cashmere Museum and riverside parks provide plenty of space for family outings. With its own dedicated school district, sunny central Washington weather, and endless mountain trails nearby, Cashmere is a comfortable, scenic spot to put down roots.
