Castle, OK

Located about six miles northwest of Okemah, Castle is a quiet rural community in Okfuskee County with around 170 residents. U.S. Route 62 runs straight through the center of town and intersects with State Highway 48, making travel across the area straightforward. The community got its start as an agricultural and railroad stop in the early 1900s, and today it remains a peaceful, spread-out settlement surrounded by open Oklahoma pastureland.
