About Cedar Hills

Cedar Hills is a Washington County census-designated place and neighborhood west of Portland, south of U.S. Route 26. It was planned as a large postwar community, with development announced in 1946 and the first homes built that same year. That origin still shows in its suburban layout: homes, schools, shopping, and access to Beaverton and Portland job centers. Cedar Hills feels like an early planned suburb that has been folded into the dense westside Portland metro.
