Cedar Valley is a quiet residential enclave tucked into the Logan County countryside, about eight miles west of Guthrie. The town was founded around the Cedar Valley Golf Club in the 1970s, when developer Duffy Martin built the course and carved out home sites along the fairways. Today, it offers a peaceful neighborhood setting just south of the Cimarron River, while keeping residents within easy reach of the Oklahoma City metro.
