Ceex Haci, WI

Ceex Haci is a small Ho-Chunk community in central Wisconsin's Wood County, tucked along the Wisconsin River just south of Nekoosa. The name translates to "Marsh House," reflecting its history as an early gathering point where canoe routes met along the waterways. Today, the area offers a quiet, rural setting surrounded by the wetlands and pine forests between Nekoosa and Babcock, grounded in Ho-Chunk heritage and an enduring connection to the river valley.
