Centerville, LA

Centerville is a St. Mary Parish CDP at the meeting point of Louisiana Highways 182 and 317, just southeast of Franklin. LA 317 reaches north-south through the community and ends at LA 182 beside Bayou Teche, so the road map is basically the town’s introduction. Centerville School is the local institution named in the place’s basic profile, and the Centerville Bridge over Bayou Teche adds a recognizable landmark. It’s bayou-country Louisiana in a two-highway, one-school shape.
