Chalfont, PA

Chalfont is a charming Bucks County borough located northwest of Philadelphia. With around 4,200 residents, it offers a friendly, small-town feel that appeals to families and commuters alike. Getting into Center City is simple thanks to the local Chalfont station on SEPTA's Lansdale/Doylestown Line. Families are also drawn to the area for the top-rated Central Bucks School District, which includes Unami Middle School right in the borough.

The town dates back to the eighteenth century, taking its name from Chalfont St Giles in England. Detachments of George Washington’s army even marched through the area on their way from Valley Forge to the Battle of Monmouth. Today, that rich past is visible in the Chalfont Historic District, where well-preserved colonial and Victorian homes surround the intersection of Butler Avenue and North Main Street. Bordered by the branches of Neshaminy Creek, Chalfont combines historic character with relaxed suburban living.
