About Chatham
Chatham is a historic coastal town situated at the southeastern tip of Cape Cod in Barnstable County, Massachusetts. First settled in 1664 and originally called Monomoit, the community of approximately 1,600 has evolved from a traditional fishing village into an affluent summer resort destination. The town is home to the Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge, the historic Chatham Lighthouse, and the architectural landmark Eldredge Public Library.
