Cheboygan, MI

Located near the tip of Michigan's Lower Peninsula, Cheboygan is a relaxed waterfront community of about 4,800 residents where the Cheboygan River flows into Lake Huron. As the county seat, it functions as a practical hub for the surrounding area, with local schools, healthcare, and everyday shopping. Downtown sits right along the river, where you will find local businesses, casual eateries, and the historic Cheboygan Opera House hosting concerts and theater year-round.

Outdoor recreation is a major part of living in Cheboygan. The town marks the eastern start of Michigan's 38-mile Inland Waterway, giving boaters and anglers easy access to a chain of beautiful rivers and inland lakes.
