Chester, AR

Chester is a small town in Crawford County, Arkansas, part of the Fort Smith, Arkansas-Oklahoma Metropolitan Statistical Area. Platted in 1887 when the railroad extended to that point, the community has maintained a post office since 1883. With a population of 144 at the 2020 census, the town sits in the Arkansas River valley region of western Arkansas.
