Chickasaw Point, SC

Chickasaw Point is an Oconee County CDP on the northeast shore of Lake Hartwell, right near the South Carolina-Georgia line. It was first listed as a census-designated place before the 2020 census, so the map label is newer than the lake community itself. The place is organized around a private lakeside development with an 18-hole golf course, clubhouse, restaurant, pool, tennis and pickleball courts, and a boat ramp. Seneca is about 13 miles to the northeast, while Interstate 85 Exit 1 is five miles southeast. Chickasaw Point is a Lake Hartwell address more than a traditional town, with the reservoir shaping the whole layout.
