Chignik, AK

Tucked along Anchorage Bay on the Alaska Peninsula, Chignik is a small coastal village centered around commercial salmon fishing. Founded as a cannery hub in the late 1800s, the town still revolves around its working harbor and seasonal catches. Getting in and out means boarding a flight from King Salmon or catching the summer ferry from Kodiak.
