Chignik Lagoon, AK

Chignik Lagoon is a census-designated place in Lake and Peninsula Borough, Alaska, situated on the southeast shore of its namesake tidal inlet on the Alaska Peninsula. With a population of 72 at the 2020 census, the small fishing community is bordered to the east by the city of Chignik. In 2009 the U.S. Marines began work on an inter-village road system linking Chignik Lagoon to Chignik Lake.
