About Chuathbaluk
Chuathbaluk is a small city in the Bethel Census Area, Alaska, situated on the Kuskokwim River approximately one hundred miles upstream from Bethel. set near the Russian Mountains, the area historically served as summer fish camps for the Deg Hit'an Athabascan people during the nineteenth century. With a population of about one hundred residents, the community is served by the Kuspuk School District, which operates the Crow Village Sam School.
