About Circle City

Located about 17 miles northwest of Surprise along Route 60, Circle City is a small, peaceful community with an interesting backstory. It was founded in the late 1950s by the Workmen's Circle, a group that designed the neighborhood around a large circular street layout for retirees. Today, it offers quiet desert living and open space, with the shopping, dining, and healthcare of the northwest Phoenix valley just a short drive down the highway.
