Citrus Springs, FL

Citrus Springs is a census-designated place in northern Citrus County, Florida, situated within the Homosassa Springs metropolitan area. Developed in the mid-twentieth century by the Deltona Corporation as a master-planned community with over thirty-four thousand homesites, the neighborhood of approximately 12,200 features local schools and parks. The community lies adjacent to the Withlacoochee State Trail and borders the neighborhoods of Pine Ridge and Hernando.
