About Claremont

Claremont is the sole city in Sullivan County, New Hampshire, situated in the upper Connecticut River valley. Developed as a major nineteenth-century industrial center powered by the Sugar River, the community of approximately 13,100 features a historic downtown business district and a Victorian bandstand dating to 1890.
