Tucked along the farm roads southeast of Okemah, Clearview is a quiet rural community with deep roots in Oklahoma history. Founded in 1903 as an all-Black settlement along the railroad, the town quickly grew into a thriving center with its own stores, schools, and vibrant community spirit. Today, it stands as one of the state's thirteen surviving historic all-Black towns, offering residents a peaceful, wide-open countryside rich in heritage.
