Clermont, GA

Clermont is a quiet North Georgia community tucked into Hall County, roughly fifteen minutes north of Gainesville. With around a thousand residents, it offers a relaxed, rural pace with Highway 129 running right through town for easy trips into the city or up toward Cleveland. Locals still embrace the town's quirky history, too. It was originally named Dip back in the late 1800s, a fun piece of heritage that lives on at the Clermont-Dip Library.

Community spaces like the Clermont Chattahoochee Center and local park pavilions host everything from family reunions to weekend get-togethers. In the fall, the whole town turns out for Clermont Days, an annual festival packed with a parade, 5K race, live music, craft booths, and fireworks.
