Clever, MO

Clever is a small, welcoming town in southwest Missouri, located about twenty minutes southwest of Springfield. Home to roughly 3,000 residents, it offers plenty of quiet country charm, rolling farmland, and elbow room while staying connected to the larger region. Highway 14 runs right past town, making for an easy daily commute to jobs and amenities in nearby Nixa, Republic, and Springfield.

The community centers around the local Clever R-V schools, which sit together on a single campus right in town and draw strong support from neighbors. For weekend outings, Wilson's Creek National Battlefield is just a short drive north, offering walking trails and scenic green spaces. Most residents head into Springfield for major shopping, dining, and medical care, but they return home to Clever for its safe streets, lower-key pace, and friendly neighborhood feel.
