Clio, SC

Set in the quiet farmland of northeastern Marlboro County, Clio is a small, easygoing crossroads community of around 600 people. Originally called Ivey's Cross Roads before taking its name from the muse of history, the town grew as a market hub for Pee Dee cotton farmers. Today, life here moves at a relaxed pace among wide-open fields and quiet country roads, while nearby Bennettsville provides quick access to grocery stores, medical care, and daily conveniences.
