Cloverdale, IN

Cloverdale is a town in Putnam County's Cloverdale and Warren townships, established in 1839 and named for the clover-covered dales near the original site. It sits off I-70 in west-central Indiana, about midway between Indianapolis and Terre Haute, with the county's rural roads feeding into a small town center. The name shows up in both the local landscape and the civic calendar: Cloverdale Town Hall, Cloverdale Park, and the meetings of the town council and park board give the place its everyday landmarks.
