Cloverly centers around the crossroads of New Hampshire Avenue and Briggs Chaney Road, where you'll find the Cloverly Shopping Center for everyday grocery runs and quick bites. Outside of that main retail corner, the community branches out into peaceful, wooded neighborhoods spread across rolling green landscapes and stream valleys. It is an unincorporated part of Montgomery County, so even if your mailing address lists Silver Spring or Colesville, local public services come directly from the county. With roughly 15,000 residents spread across ten square miles, the area offers plenty of breathing room and a relaxed, leafy suburban atmosphere.

Montgomery County provides Ride On Flex Zone 918, a free on-demand shuttle service during weekday rush hours that connects local corners to the White Oak Transit Center for Flash bus rapid transit and regional connections. Weekday Route 39 buses also run along Briggs Chaney and Good Hope roads directly to the Glenmont Metro station. Driving down New Hampshire Avenue is the standard route for regional travel, so it is a good idea to test drive your prospective morning commute to see how traffic flows from your specific neighborhood.

The Good Hope Neighborhood Recreation Center sits inside a scenic 14-acre park on Good Hope Road and serves as a major activity hub for all ages. Because much of Cloverly lies within protected watersheds like the Upper Paint Branch, environmental protections have helped keep the area green and low-density. You will also see pedestrian improvements like the sidepath and footbridge along Good Hope Road, which makes walking between neighborhoods safer while protecting nearby streams.
