About Cohoe
Cohoe is a scenic census-designated place in the Kenai Peninsula Borough, Alaska, positioned along the eastern shores of Cook Inlet. Bounded to the north by the Kasilof River and to the east by the outflow of Tustumena Lake, the coastal community lies along Alaska Route 1. This central highway provides residents with nearby transit, leading fifteen miles northeast to Soldotna and south to Homer. Today, this remote residential community serves as a scenic wilderness retreat for approximately fifteen hundred residents.
