Cokato, MN

Cokato is a quiet, welcoming town of around 2,800 residents in southwestern Wright County. Located along Highway 12, the community takes its name from a Native American word meaning "amid," which fits its scenic position surrounded by rolling farmland, prairies, and nearby lakes. Originally established as a railroad stop in the late 1800s, Cokato blends rich local history with a relaxed, small-town atmosphere that makes newcomers feel right at home.
