Collingswood, NJ

Collingswood is a Camden County borough just across the Delaware River from Philadelphia. The land was originally inhabited by Lenape people, and later Quakers from England helped shape the area's early colonial settlement. Modern Collingswood is known for a compact downtown, restaurants, theater companies, and community events such as its Green Festival. It has the feel of an older streetcar suburb that has leaned into main-street life, transit access, and a more civic, artsy identity than many nearby towns.
