Colonial Park, PA

Colonial Park is a suburban community in Dauphin County, just outside Harrisburg. It is best known locally for the Colonial Park area along Jonestown Road and Colonial Road, where shopping centers and commercial strips serve the eastern side of the metro. Colonial Park Mall began in 1960 as an open-air center called Colonial Park Plaza before later being enclosed. The surrounding community is practical Harrisburg suburbia: neighborhoods, apartments, schools, offices, and retail, with less of a separate small-town center than a regional shopping identity.
