Columbine sits in the southwest corner of the Denver metro area, right where quiet suburban neighborhoods meet the foothills. Robert F. Clement Park acts as the main gathering spot for the community. Wrapped around Johnston Reservoir, the park features walking paths with clear views of the mountains, sports fields, playgrounds, a skate park, and a lakeside amphitheater that hosts summer concerts. The Columbine Library sits right along the edge of the park, while paved greenway trails along Dutch Creek and Lilley Gulch let residents bike or walk directly into the park from nearby subdivisions. Clement Park is also home to the Columbine Memorial, a quiet and thoughtfully designed space dedicated to remembering the victims, survivors, and community affected by the 1999 high school tragedy.
