Four highways outline Coral Terrace: U.S. Route 41 forms its northern edge, State Road 826 its west, State Road 959 its east, and State Road 976 its south. The unincorporated Miami-Dade County community lies seven miles west of downtown Miami and is part of the Miami metropolitan area. Its population declined from 24,376 in 2010 to 23,142 in 2020. Miami borders it on the north, with West Miami and Coral Gables to the northeast and east, South Miami and Glenvar Heights to the south, and Westchester to the west.
