Corcoran, MN

Corcoran is a rural city in Hennepin County, northwest of Minneapolis. It was settled in 1855 and organized in 1858, giving it roots older than much of the surrounding suburban growth. Even today, Corcoran has more open land, farms, large lots, and country roads than many Twin Cities communities inside the same county. County roads 10, 19, 30, 50, 116, and 117 are important local routes. The city sits in the path of metro expansion, but its feel remains partly rural.
