Covington, KY

Covington is a northern Kentucky city at the meeting of the Licking and Ohio rivers, directly across from Cincinnati. Its riverfront location shaped the city from the beginning, when early developers laid out land on the west side of the Licking River near its confluence with the Ohio. Covington has a dense urban fabric for Kentucky, with historic neighborhoods, river views, and five churches listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It feels closely tied to Cincinnati while keeping its own older Kentucky city character.
