Crescent Lake, OR

The area got its start in the 1920s as a Southern Pacific railroad stop built to help trains cross the Cascade Range. As highway travel picked up mid-century, local businesses and cabins gradually clustered around Crescent Lake Junction along Route 58. Today, it remains a rustic, unhurried outpost where railway history, roadside convenience, and lakeside cabin living come together beneath towering ponderosa pines.
